Overhearing, Grimalkin the cat ambles over to curl up against the welcome heat and lick his favorite human's hand. But this is to be his last day on earth…before he becomes the Ghost Cat.

Follow Grimalkin as he witnesses the changes of the next 120 years, prowling unseen among the inhabitants of an Edinburgh tenement while unearthing some startling revelations about the mystery of existence, the unstoppable march of time and the true meaning of feline companionship.

My Thoughts: This was cute to read. We are following a Ghost Cat through history. It's like those videos where someone attaches a camera to their cat's collar and sees the world through their eyes. I feel like cat lovers will like this. History lovers will enjoy seeing the little snapshots of history.
This was a fun book to spend my time with. I can see a lot of people enjoying it.

Synopsis: Is he the real deal…or did she truly summon a golem?

Faye Kaplan used to be engaged. She also used to have a successful legal practice. But she much prefers her new life as a potter in Woodstock, New York. The only thing missing is the perfect guy.

Not that she needs one. She’s definitely happy alone.

That is, until she finds her town papered with anti-Semitic flyers after yet another failed singles event at the synagogue. Desperate for comfort, Faye drunkenly turns to the only thing guaranteed to soothe her—pottery. A golem protector is just what her town needs…and adding all the little details to make him her ideal man can’t hurt, right?

When a seriously hot stranger mysteriously turns up the next day, Greg seems too good to be true—if you ignore the fact that Faye hit him with her bike. And that he subsequently lost his memory…

But otherwise, the man checks Every. Single. Box. Causing Faye to wonder if Greg’s sudden and spicy appearance might be anything but a coincidence.
(Synopsis from Goodreads)

My Thoughts: This was a lot of fun to read! I was drawn in by the synopsis from the very start.
Faye is at a very different place in life than she expected to be. She went from engaged to single, corporate life to a pottery maker. She's happy, but sometimes she feels sorry for herself. I really enjoyed Faye's story. She had a lot of bravery.
I also enjoyed the romance between Faye and Greg.
This story also has incorporates Faye''s Judaism and antisemitism that were important to the overall book.
I really enjoyed this and will definitely read more of Jean Meltzer's stuff.

Synopsis: Love puts you in uncharted waters.

At first glance, Hope Evans just landed the perfect spending the summer on a shark research boat. Except as every marine biologist knows, it’s what’s going on beneath the surface that counts, and Hope’s new position comes with a big catch—the boat belongs to her ex-boyfriend, Adrian Hollis-Parker. For three years Hope’s been treading water, staying away from anything that reminds her of their past. It’s time to dive back into a job that could springboard her career—and maybe offer much-needed closure.

Since their split, Adrian has risen to internet fame as a shark expert with the launch of his YouTube channel to dispel myths and educate viewers about sharks. But success rings hollow without Hope. Embracing this new career trajectory was a risk, but working in cramped quarters with the woman he never stopped loving? That has the potential to backfire in heartbreaking ways.

Side by side, weathering storms of every kind, they’ll have to navigate the murky waters of past hurts…and hope it’s not too late to chart a new course…
(Synopsis from Goodreads)

My Thoughts: This was very cute and I really enjoyed reading it! I loved the fact that Hope was a marine biologist. She's a woman in science! Very cool. I also liked that it included sharks.
This is a second chance romance between our characters of Hope and Adrian. It was very cute between them. It's also a forced proximity romance because they are stuck together on Adrian's boat.
I had a lot of fun reading this. I'd definitely recommend it. I can see a lot of people really enjoying this one. It'll give you the feels.
