My Thoughts: What a ride! This is a very satisfying conclusion that leaves a little room for something more to come. It's dark, it's gory, and it has some great characters.
There are some really strong female characters in this. Evie, our main girl, is someone you don't want to mess with. I enjoyed following her adventures to their conclusion.
This is a series that should be read. And look at those covers! They definitely need to be on your shelf.
Matt Wallace is the Hugo nominated author of Rencor: Life in Grudge City and the Sin du Jour series, and he won a Hugo Award alongside Mur Lafferty for the fancast Ditch Diggers. He’s also penned more than a hundred short stories in addition to writing for film and television. In his youth, he traveled the world as a professional wrestler and unarmed combat and self-defense instructor before retiring to write full time.
