My Thoughts: This was a fun and exciting book that I enjoyed reading. I really liked how the roles were switched from what we usually see. Our heroine is the tough Marine who is tasked with protecting Kaj and his son.
I was never bored with this one. It was a pretty easy read that kept my attention. The pacing was fast and kept me turning pages.
I really liked the setting of New Orleans.
This is the second book in the series, but I had no trouble jumping right in.
I could see a lot of people enjoying this one. If you like romantic suspense, I'd say add it to the TBR pile!
