My Thoughts: I am always up for a thriller, and My Darling Husband caught me with that synopsis. It just sounded so terrifying. A masked intruder breaking into your home, holding you captive, and then demanding a ransom for your husband. It's the stuff of nightmares. You always think you're safe in your home, but what happens when you're not?
This book kept me on the edge of my seat. I was turning pages from start to finish. I had to know what was going on, what was going to happen, was Jade and her kids going to be okay? The kidnapper/hostage taker was always one step ahead. I needed to know why!
This did a great job as a thriller. I was hooked from start to finish. I'd definitely recommend doing grabby hands for this one.
