My Thoughts: I really enjoyed this story. This is one of those stories that deals with multiple generations. I loved finding out each story and seeing how they all weaved together. I also loved learning more Cuban history. I don't know the most about those events in history, and I love being able to learn more through historical fiction.
Chanel Cleeton writes some great stories. I end up being really invested in the characters and the situations they are in.
I loved how this story was about family, that was its core.
I thought this was great. I enjoyed my time reading it. I definitely recommend picking it up and giving it a read.
