My Thoughts: I was sold as soon as I heard the title and saw the cover for this one. I love books with some spooky stuff sprinkled in.
I really enjoyed myself with this one. I loved the idea of Lucky going to conquer this spooky house. I enjoyed the cast of characters.
This is also a book about Lucky discovering who she is. She has a lot of baggage when it comes to life stuff, and she has to do something about it in this story.
I loved the haunted house setting. The film crew was fun. The romance was sweet.
I liked it and I could see it appealing to a lot of other readers.
Claire Kann is the author of several novels and an award-winning online storyteller. In her other life she works for a nonprofit you may have heard of where she daydreams like she’s paid to do it. She loves cats and is obsessed with horror media (which makes the whole "being known for writing contemporary love stories" thing a little weird, tbh).
