Two women. A dying wish. And a web of lies that will bring their world crashing down.
Nina and Marie were best friends—until Nina was diagnosed with a terminal illness. Before she died, Nina asked Marie to fulfill her final wishes.
But her mistake was in thinking Marie was someone she could trust.
What Nina didn’t know was that Marie always wanted her beautiful life, and that Marie has an agenda of her own. She’ll do anything to get what she wants.
Marie thinks she can keep her promise to her friend’s family on her own terms. But what she doesn’t know is that Nina was hiding explosive secrets of her own… (Synopsis from Goodreads)

My Thoughts: Twisted Twisted Twisted. I don't know if I would call this an all and out thriller, it does have some very thrilling elements, but I would say this was a twisted drama. This follows two best friends and what seems like a tragic and heartfelt pact. Nina is dying and asks Marie to fulfill her final wishes. It should all be so sweet and sad, but Marie is a tad crazy, and Nina was hiding some insane secrets of her own.
These two women are not the best people. They do a very good job of hiding their levels of crazy. I couldn't decide which one of them was worse.
This book would ratchet up the suspense in parts, and then it would go into a bit of a lull. It wasn't the most consistent on keeping up the tempo.
I enjoyed it. It was fun to read. A great way to pass the time. I won't say it was the best thriller I ever read, but it did keep me entertained.
