Devils & Thieves (#1) by Jennifer Rush and I'm not that far into it yet. I looked on Goodreads and this has kind of mixed reviews and I'm not really sure why. Seems like a lot of people find it just average. I'm already a big fan of Jennifer Rush. I absolutely love her Altered Saga, so I was so excited to read all the books she decides to come out with in the future.
I'm enjoying Devils & Thieves so far. To simplify, it's a Motorcycle Gang with Magic. A main character who struggles to do magic. A really cute, brooding, dangerous Biker Gang leader, and people disappearing. With a premise like that, I don't see how it could be bad.
This is the supposed to be the first book in a series, at least according to Goodreads, but I can't seem to find any information on when the next books are coming out. I hope I get more from this series.

Also, I just wanted to say that I'm sorry I haven't been doing the Blog Work like I said I would in my fancy schmancy New Year's Resolutions. I get tired, I get lazy. It probably doesn't help that I do a lot of my posts last minute, late at night. I can't change who I am, I've always been a procrastinator. I also haven't been doing as many Blog Tours, which I think is a good decision for me. I was just signing up for too many last year and I got overwhelmed. So, to wrap-up, if my Blog goes a couple of days without posts, don't worry, I'm probably just being lazy.

ReplyDeleteI liked it a lot! I'm already a fan of her Altered Series, so I'm not surprised that I liked this so much. I'm hoping for a sequel. It's gritty magic and motorcycle gangs. It's good.
