Title: Say No More
Author: Karen Rose
Published by: Berkley
Released: August 11, 2020

Synopsis: Mercy Callahan thought she'd escaped the cult decades ago, but its long fingers are reaching out for her again in this electrifying novel in the Sacramento series...
Seventeen years ago. That was the last time Mercy Callahan saw Ephraim Burton, the leader of the twisted Eden cult where she was raised. But even though she escaped the abuse and terror, they continue to haunt her.
When her brother Gideon discovers new evidence of the cult's—and their victims'—whereabouts, Mercy goes to Sacramento to reconnect with him. There, she meets Gideon's closest friend—homicide detective Rafe Sokolov. From Rafe, she receives an offer she never knew she needed: to track down Ephraim and make him pay for everything.
But Ephraim, who had thought Mercy long dead, discovers she is in fact alive and that she is digging around for the cult's secrets. And now he'll do anything to take her back to Eden—dead or alive. (Synopsis from Goodreads)

My Thoughts: Oooh this was full of drama, danger, and revenge! I really enjoyed this book.
This novel is a continuation to Say You're Sorry, but Say No More does a good job of standing on its own. Some background and the main characters are introduced in Say You're Sorry, so if you want the full enchilada, maybe you should read that one first. If you just want to jump into Say No More, you can do that successfully without really missing out.
This book had a lot going on in it. It's a chunky monkey of a book, I like long books. This had a lot of danger in its pages. It had a sweet romance between Mercy and Rafe that was very satisfying. It also deals with a cult aspect, which is always fun.
This was very addicting. I kept turning the pages because I needed to know what was going to happen next. Even though it was a long book, it didn't feel like it. Say No More is very exciting.
I enjoyed Say No More. It delivered a really exciting story that featured a woman who was determined to get the person who had wronged her. It had twists and turns, danger and adrenaline. Karen Rose told a very exciting story and I can't wait to read more from her. This was a good time.
