My Thoughts: Fun, Fun, Fun! I really enjoyed No Other Duke But You. It had everything I wanted from a Historical Romance. It had the guy, the girl, the tension, all the things that make Historical Romances great!
This is the Eleventh book in the Playful Brides Series and I had not read them in order before coming to No Other Duke But You. I don't think that hurt me at all by reading it out of order. No Other Duke But You stands up fine on its own.
I really enjoyed Lady Delilah and Lord Thomas. I think they made a good match, their chemistry was off the charts. Delilah could get a tad annoying at times. They also really needed to work on communicating with each other, but other than that, they were cute!
I'd definitely recommend giving No Other Duke But You are read. If Historical Romances are your thing, then curl up on the couch with this one. I'm definitely going to read more of the books in the Playful Brides series.

Valerie Bowman grew up in Illinois with six sisters (she’s number seven) and a huge supply of historical romance novels. After a cold and snowy stint earning a degree in English with a minor in history at Smith College, she moved to Florida the first chance she got. Valerie now lives in Jacksonville with her family including her mini-schnauzers, Huckleberry and Violet. When she’s not writing, she keeps busy reading, traveling, or vacillating between watching crazy reality TV and PBS.
